Susan B. Taylor is a singer-songwriter, musician, producer, teacher, and business owner whose work is rooted in a lifetime of hands-on record making. She began playing piano by ear at age four, and six years of choir helped shape the melody, harmony, and structure that still guide her writing.
While earning her B.S. degree at KSU, Susan co-led the Progressive Wood Band, building experience in performance, collaborative songwriting, and band management. In 1989, she recorded her first album using a hybrid analog/digital approach in conjunction with forming SBT RECORDS and Little Road Publishing Company/BMI—launching a fully independent artistic path!
Today, Ms. Taylor continues to write and produce original music alongside teaching privately and developing other artists through her label and publishing company, with a steady focus on songcraft, sound quality, and artistic creative control.
